BASIC PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To support the business growth by partnering with East Region Sales Team and provide full financial support for commercial decision-making which includes:
• Regional KA and distributors performance tracking & analysis to ensure profitable growth and strategic investments in key customers to drive business improvement
• Revenue management and planning/target setting for regional KA and distributor business. Timely update opps & risks and drive corrective actions with sales team
• Trade spend efficiency evaluation to ensure optimal investment decision making
• Strategic investment decision support to the Sales team in assessment of new customers/ business opportunities etc.
• Transfer finance knowledge to sales teams, coach and improve financial acumen of sales management team
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Customer Financial Planning, Analysis and Reporting
• Provide Regional KA customers performance analysis including scorecard review, trade spend investment efficiency and meaningful insights into deviations from set targets
• Distributor financial scorecard tracking and review to support on-going customer performance assessment
• Revenue management and planning for regional KA and distributor business and ensure timely decisions and corrective actions to address opps & risks
• Support Sales on distributor contracts reviews, signing and renewal
2. Financial representative in strategic sales projects
• Strategic investment decision support to the Sales team in assessment of new customers/ business opportunities etc.
• Be an active business partner to drive the project forward together with the project leader.
• Ensure control is well followed in new business/ new process/ new region etc.
Efficiency Evaluation of trade spending
3. Efficiency Evaluation of trade spending
• Pre and Post evaluation of trade investment by customers/big events
• Provide recommendation to Sales Team in order to improve the efficiency of trade spending
4. Knowledge Transfer in finance/control/tax area
• Design the Finance Training to Sales Force based on requirements and best practices from region/global
• Customize the training according to the needs of KA and distributors
• Deliver the training on regular basis
• Listen to the feedback from sales team to optimize the content of the training regularly
