  Senior IP Solution Presales Expert

  Responsibilities

  You will be joining a fast growing and international team, being responsible for creating customer centric solutions for IP/MPLS within EMEA region. You will handle all technical aspects of our customer engagements, delivering business values through technical expertise and strategic guidance.

  Your main responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following:

  1.Proactive engagement with Huawei EMEA key accounts to understand their pain points, develop corresponding IP/MPLS solutions to guide them through various technology options in the form of technical workshops and deep dive technical discussions with mid-level to upper management customers as response to RFIs/RFPs.

  2.Support Huawei’s IP/MPLS marketing and branding activities (CXO-level visits, technology forums, business seminars and customer workshops).

  3.Liaison with internal organizations (headquarter and regional) to drive the roadmap of future product and solution offerings.

  Requirements:

  1.More than 10 years of direct Consulting/ Product Management/ Solution Architecture/ Sales Engineering in the IP/MPLS industry with a proven track record within a well-known international vendor or Tier 1 operator.

  2.Thorough understanding in IP/MPLS network solutions in the following one or more fields are required: IP CORE/IGW, BRAS/CGN, ME, IPRAN. Additional knowledge in: DC/DCI, IP&OTN Synergy, IPv6 Migration, EDD/CPE, FW/NAT/IPSec/DPI, etc is desired but not mandatory.

  3.Expertise in IP/MPLS protocols is mandatory. E.g. VLAN/STP, IGP/BGP, IPv6, LDP/RSVP-TE, VLL/VPLS/VPRN, Inter-AS VPN & CSC, Seamless MPLS, IP and MPLS Multicast, QoS, OAM, etc.

  4.Knowledge of new industry SDN and NFV concepts pertaining to IP/MPLS domain is a major plus.

  5.Familiar with IP-related standards, experience in IETF and ITU-T standards activity is also a major plus.

  6.Ability to interwork with technologies from adjacent areas like optical transport DSLAM/GPON, 2G/3G/LTE mobile architecture and IPTV is preferred.

  7.In order to know well SP’s pain points and requirements to define the right penetration strategy, solid understanding of SP’s network environment, architecture evolution and service development is preferred.

  8.CCIE certificate is a major plus.

  9.Excellent presentation and communication skills. Outstanding communication ability across hierarchies.

  10.Proven track record of key speaker experience at international fairs is nice to have.

  11.Proactive work attitude, team player with good time management skills, flexibility and able to multi-task.

  12.Interest to work in a multinational environment.

  13.Fluency in English is mandatory. Fluent in German, Italian is preferred.

  14.Frequent travel up to 50% is expected.
