This role has primary responsibility to assess Dealers Risks/EU Risks, periodic
Reviews of Dealers Financials, determine Dealer Rating/EU Rating, amount of Credit Limit and additional securities needs.
In his role the Underwriter has to interact with other functions such as country Portfolio Managers and Brand / Network Development representatives to obtain the needed information and understanding of dealer/EU reality and business plans, and return the recommendations and conditions of approval to them.
He will assist in mitigating risks where they arise and support the implementation of mitigating actions.
Responsibilities, Accountabilities & Decision Making Authority: Outline the primary responsibilities of the position and the authority level of the position (i.e., budget approval)
Recommend guidelines and procedures;
Review and assist in establishing credit limits and in determining credit ratings on existing clients;
Prepare formal credit write-ups on larger and/or more complicated clients and related transactions, for review by Credit Officer;
Provide consultative insight into review clients financial issues;
Determine additional collateral requirements;
Ensure accurate completion of credit files and legal documentations;
Define wholesale pricing model for assigned Countries;
Provide periodic reporting on the performance and profile of the assigned areas.

The ideal candidate, graduate in Economics or Business Management or Finance, must have a minimum of 5 years in the Credit / Compliance function within the Finance Banking sector or a Captive Company.
Essential requirements are also:
Strong financial analytical skills relating to asset finance and lending proposals;
Good organizational and administrative skills;
Good communication skills - both verbal and written;
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office software applications (Excel, Word);
Fluent English.
