Accountabilities:
1. Under the leadership of the Technical Director, responsible fordesigns, develops and implements Muralla insurance and related packages and products. Ensures regulatory compliance with CIRC & Legal Regulatory Manager
2. Analyses and develops products and packages to meet strategic requirements of Muralla
3. Granting authorizations and/or underwriting modifications of the products’cover and underwriting conditions, as part of the product management of Muralla’s business
4. With Pricing Specialist creates automated risk scoring and selection model to develop a quality book of new and renewal businesses in order to maintain a profitable portfolio, launch commercial improvement or corrective actions
5. Monitoring risk profile distribution, set and measure quote, hit and decline ratio targets to actual,to provide assurance on correct application of risk selection model to bound risks
6. Auditing the intended risk selection customer profiles by risks factors through random file reviews. 
7. Develop and update risk selection model based on agreed to frequencies
8. Reviewing and managing loss ratio budget to actual
Technical Qualifications & Experience:
• Property & Casualty insurance product design and underwriting experience, motor being preferred
• Skilled in customer segmentation, product performance analysis, implementation and risk selection model design and operation
• Strong knowledge in online, mobile, price comparisons, affinity and social media distributionunderwriting customer risk selection
• Experience in predictive underwriting, pricing and customer behavioural scoring modelling
• Tools and analytics knowledge: SAS, COGNOS, Pricing Tools (EMBLEM, PRETIUM, TEC), RATE ASSESSOR, Insurance core systems helpful
• Managed team and external service providers to deliver underwriting and commercial results
